Firms to sue Uganda over newly introduced goods clearing system

Over 1,500 firms have threatened to move to court to oppose a new electronic goods clearance system introduced by Uganda.

The clearing and forwarding firms want Ugandan authorities stopped from using the system in clearing motor vehicles and steel at the Port of Mombasa.
