19,000 left out in university selection, asked to reapply

Some 19,000 students who qualified for admission to public universities  and colleges are yet to get placement, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS) has said.

This means that only 48,000 students have secured places in the institutions as a total of 67,000 students who sat their Kenya Certificate for Secondary Education examination in 2014 qualified for placement.
