Revealed:Strange products offered on River Road for body enhancements and 'virginity'

 Number of retailers on River Road are offering 'virginity' products

In Nairobi it’s easy to find gels, creams and sprays to 'regain virginity'. Women no longer have to go to the unverified use rudimentary route of using yoghurt, bitter lemon, coke, ice cubes and washing detergents to tighten it.

There are a number of retailers on River Road offering what they claim to be body curving , hip-enhancement and 'virginity' products.

 Njeri one of the dealers in the products, says that, “A small piece of a 'magic stone' goes for sh 250. All you need to do is break it into small pieces, mix it with bathing water and gently rub it around the vagina for two to three weeks for a guaranteed tightening that might make your man thinks  you’re a re teenager!”

Njeri also has herbal tablets said to increase one’s bum for sh 5,500.

Mary, another dealer explains that depending on how your body reacts, only 10 tablets are needed in a period  of five days to make things cozier down their”

We are shown ‘madura stick’ at another store which is “inserted into vagina, just like a tampon.“  Some reportedly have a ‘special gel’ that makes the vagina contract in a period of one month. It gradually emerges that while there are ‘normal’ city lasses who buy them, the majority of clients are ‘night nurses’.

Most, however prefer, tablet tablets and creams to injections.

Dr. Time Letting , a retired sociology lecturer blames the rush for such kinds of drugs on societal pressure “ Because nowadays people think curved and light skinned women are more marketable. Men are also to be blamed for being too choosy.”

Letting points that: “People ought not to judge women by their external features, but rather by their characters. These dangerous chemicals can even render women barren in future.”
