Oh no he didn't! Moses Kuria angers Kenyans with another hateful remark

As he promised, Moses Kuria made the apology in all leading dailies for the hate messages posted on his social media platforms.

But it would seem that social media is just not meant for the Gatundu South MP. Despite agreeing to make a public apology about his hate remarks, Kuria was at it again, going as far as quoting a verse in the Bible.

On his Facebook page, the controversial MP cited Genesis 17:14 which reads; Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant."

This has not been taken kindly by Kenyans who have strongly shunned the utterances.

Here are some of the reactions:

Francis Kirago: read the New Testament my fellow Kenyan. As a matter of fact, circumcision is what it does on your mind, but not on your penis. Im a kikuyu but that line of thinking is wrong.

Eustace Kimathi: You are quoting Bible out of context. We are living in the New Testament. Kuria as sitting Member of Parliament, you can do better than that.

Obadiah Waweru: That only applies to the mentally poor. Currently majority of kenyans are past such theories. We already know the rich know no tribe, race, religion etc. They dine and make deals together. They even intermarry. Sell your theory to the fools Tumeerevuka.

Erick Odhiambo: Its very sad that awhole mp cannot reason beyond his genitals, ur interllectualy challenged bwana, seek divine intervention

Dolo Fred: a disgrace to the society and the president, uncircumcised fellows have brains and cannot insult fellow Kenyans. i dont think anyone is above the law. Wade and Moses kuria should be treated equally.

Vinny Madola Mheshimiwa: you need to respect yourself. You need to talk to the people with the firmness that open thier eyes and not with the anger that arrouses their emotions. You basically dont deserve the name honourable because you dnt behave like one. No wonder you were not elected. As aluo and educated one i feel you have deeply insulted us. This need to be reported to National cohesion and integration commission.

While the online debate rages on, Moses Kuria will be arraigned in court today over hate speech. This is after the Law Society of Kenya sued him over terrorism related utterances.
