A village elder has been arrested for letting a girl of 10 be raped as punishment for her father beating up a drunken neighbor who broke into their home.
Police arrested the elder in India who ordered the "revenge rape" after the girl’s father lashed out as the 25-year-old man who barged into their house at midnight and tried to molest the man’s wife.
