A thug has been shot dead in Ndumbu - Ini Uthiru area in Nairobi after being trailed by police from Kinoo. The thug, who according to reports had an accomplice, is said to have robbed a person at Sigona area before taking a boda boda - escaping heading to Gitaru.
The two were however hit by a moving vehicle (probox) at the Gitaru underpass, as they were moving against traffic. One was injured but managed to escape, carjacking a matatu headed towards town.
