Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come out to claim that Manchester City fans have started supported United after meeting him.

The Manchester United striker has come under-fire for his recent lacklustre performances since moving to Old Trafford from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Swedish international is said to be desperate to put things right in tonight’s EFL derby against Manchester City.

When asked if he has met any City fans in Manchester, he said: “I’ve met a lot but they became United supporters when they met me!”

In an exclusive interview with United Review, the United striker claimed that: “We cannot go back and change the result, absolutely not, but we can make a difference in the upcoming game.

“We have an opportunity to play against City again, at home and win” said the 35 year old striker.
