England manager hunt sees Laurent Blanc as potential Roy Hodgson successor

Former France and Paris Saint-Germain boss Blanc is now available after being sacked despite winning the title in all three seasons he was in charge of the Ligue 1 giants, and he has a very strong ally in one of the FA’s three-man panel of king-makers.

Former Manchester United chief executive David Gill is a big fan of Blanc, who steered Les Bleus to the quarter-finals of Euro 2012, already speaks perfect English and played in the Premier League with his Red Devils.
