Police in Nakuru shot in the air to disperse a group of rowdy youth who attempted to storm a hotel where CORD leader Raila Odinga was meeting with his supporters.

The Saturday afternoon melee started when the youth led by Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri and Nakuru Town West Samuel Arama attempted to get access to Raila Odinga's meeting at Donnies hotel, police first cordoned off the area before shooting in the air to disperse them.
