Kisii Governor takes measures to end theft of drugs in county hospitals

Governor James Ongwae has promised a modern pharmaceutical centre to curb theft of drugs in public health facilities. The governor said this yesterday while flagging off a drug consignment worth over Sh17 million to 100 hospitals in the county.

Mr Ongwae also said that a team of inspectors will be dispatched to all sub county hospitals to inspect how medicines bought by his administration are being used.
