News anchor Larry Madowo has dared blogger Cyprian Nyakundi to take him to court over his (Larry’s) remarks concerning his intergrity.
In bold brief tweet, Larry challenged Nyakundi to go ahead and sue him for the alleged statements because he was ready for the suit. “Bring it on @C_NyaKundiH. This should be fun. Take a loan, you'll need it”, he wrote.
The Trend host was responding to the blogger after he threatened to sue him on his social media platforms. “Gave @LarryMadowo 7 days to apologize but he has refused .On Wednesday my lawyer proceeds to file case. Time to prove what he said in court.”
Cyprian Nyakundi, in a statement accused Larry of tarnishing his name for an audio that the blogger said had not been confirmed to be his.
In part the blogger’s statement reads: “Larry Madowo took on his Blog and Said that Nyakundi is always paid money to attack and tarnish brands and various individuals. He did this w/o attaching any evidence or believable facts. He was basically relying on a certain doctored Audio that was doing the rounds online.”
Nyakundi went ahead to explain what the ‘defamatory remarks’ have done to his character as a person. “We are seeking damages for emotional torture, ridicule and attacks I got because of the attacks after Larry Madowo went personal on me”.
