Virginia man charged in students' deaths waives right to speedy trial

USA: A Virginia man charged with abducting and killing university student Hannah Graham waived his right to a speedy trial on Wednesday in a second murder case involving a female student.

"Yes, ma’am,” the suspect, Jesse Matthew Jr., 33, said when Albemarle County Circuit Court Judge Cheryl Higgins questioned him about waiving his rights.
