TV beauties

We love TV girls; they are pretty, smart and outgoing and have a good sense of humour. Pulse's Esther Muchene digs deep into the lives of these TV sirens in search of those quirky secrets that make them all the more interesting

CHERO- KTN STR8UP PRESENTER

Favourite body part: I would have to say my abs.

Wish list: I would love to travel the world and experience every culture.

Kenyan men on romance: They’re not very romantic but they can get better.

First love: It was in 2009. Now that I know what love is, I don’t think any relationship that I had before that was love, really.

Most memorable date: Valentine’s Day, 2010. My husband proposed to me and we got married in October of the same year and we have an eleven month-old baby boy.

Marriage life: It’s awesome when you’re married to an amazing person. We’re in the same business so we understand each other. He’s my biggest fan.

Weird cravings: When I was pregnant I only wanted pineapples from Uganda.

Dressing: I would describe my style as unique, colourful and Afro-centric because I love African hair a lot. I would also say experimental because I can wear edgy stuff because of my abs, my body allows it.

I will never ever: I will never ever not want to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour. It’s my biggest never ever.

Regrets: I wouldn’t say I really regret anything because there’s a reason for everything. May be not focusing on my studies when I was in the US. I could have had like five degrees with a Masters. I wasted a lot of time.

Most embarrassing TV moment: A ‘shrub’ moment. It actually happens a lot (laughs).

Dating: I am in a relationship. It’s been on for like seven months now.

Kenyan men on romance: They are trying and some are really getting it right. There’s room for improvement.
