Kenya: The National Intelligence Service Director Michael Gichangi has resigned on personal reasons, President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced.
The much-decorated Major-General Gichangi was appointed to head Kenya’s intelligence gathering in 2006 for a five-year term. His term in office was renewed in 2011.
