Lusaka and county delegation leave for Spain

Bungoma, Kenya: Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has left the county for a 10 day tour to Spain, in which he is expected to meet potential investors in the Southern Europe Country.

The governor is accompanied by three Members of his County Executive and four Members of the County Assembly (MCA's) in the tour that will see them visit five regions of Spain and meet the leaders of the areas.

Speaking to The Standard yesterday before departure, Lusaka said Bungoma has a lot of potential  for investment.

"We hope to get investors from Madrid, Valencia, Catalunya, Navarra and Asturias. We will be seeking partnerships in Agriculture, Environment and Tourism and Education," said Lusaka.
