A 22-year-old woman could spend up to six months in prison for allegedly damaging a lorry belonging to her husband’s boss.
Lucy Wangui is accused of damaging the a FSR Isuzu lorry’s windscreen valued at Sh75,000, belonging to Henry Nyabuto. According to police records, Nyabuto, had sent his driver, Joseph Ndirangu ( Wangui’s husband) to collect sand at a quarry based in Ruai.
The court heard that at around 7pm, an angry Wangui arrived at the scene demanding to know why Ndirangu was late.
On the way home, it is claimed, Wangui broke the windscreen after the two got into a fight.
She was arrested and was released on a Sh20,000 bail.
Her case will be heard on April 27.
