A prophet has claimed young girls who lure pastors into sex are to blame for a drought spell to be experienced in the country.

Bernard Njeru, 60, from Embu told The Nairobian he had a vision from God of an impending drought and says we need to repent.

“There is going to be famine and drought in the country this year, which will spill to early next year. To avoid it, the government must tackle corruption and buy all the maize that was harvested and store in strategic reserves,” he said.

Further, he says, there is a lot of immorality in the churches, widespread money worshipping and search for power in the church and God is not happy. He warns women who try to trap pastors to desist from doing so to avert the imminent punishment that would befall them.

Njeru urged the clergy to repent and lead Kenyans in seeking God’s forgiveness if the country is to avoid the repercussions of their sins.
