MP faces sanctions for threatening Speaker, breaking chairs
Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo.

An MP has been placed under investigation by parliamentary authorities for threatening Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso and "causing damage to property" as she disrupted House proceedings.

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi notified MPs that Mrs Millie Odhiambo-Mabona (Mbita) had "menacingly pointed at the Deputy Speaker" as she protested over Dr Laboso's decision to throw her out.
