ODM nominations in three counties to proceed

NAIROBI; KENYA: ODM National Elections Board chairman Franklin Bett has said Kisumu, Homabay and Migori counties nominations will to go on after polling materials were delivered at around 3pm on Friday .

He said the retuning officers will take charge of the nomination exercise to start.

He also announced that he will start issuing certificates to the successful candidates from Saturday starting with candidates that were unopposed. He asked the candidates to pick the certificates.

The ODM elections chairman further said they had started receiving results from various counties and they were authenticating them.

He reiterated that they have appointed new returning officers in areas where some went missing because of threats.
