Shock and grief engulfed Malava Constituency after United Democratic Alliance (UDA) parliamentary aspirant Dr Enock Andanje Musambai was announced dead on arrival at Oasis Hospital in Kakamega shortly after collapsing during a campaign rally at Bulupi Primary School, West Kabras Ward.
Dr Andanje, who was seeking the UDA ticket for the Malava by-election scheduled for November 27, 2025, arrived at the venue in his vehicle and, when he tried to talk to his supporters through the sunroof, he was overwhelmed and collapsed inside his car.
