Visiline Jepkesho and Hillary Kemboi are among top athletes set to battle it out for the Sh300,000 prize in the ABC Bank Baringo Half Marathon slated for November 1.
Jepkesho is one of the emerging names on the road, having won Lisbon and Milan marathons this year. She won the Lisbon marathon title in a course record of 2:26.47 last month—just seven months after making a winning debut to her marathon career with 2:28.40 in Milan.
