NASA announces day and venue for official campaign launch

The National Super Alliance (NASA) has released a schedule for its meet the people tour and dates set for their official campaigns launch.

The schedule released by coalition’s national campaign committee chairperson, co-principal Musalia Mudavadi shows the oppositions plan to visit Isiolo Town on Wednesday May 24, where President Kenyatta’s rally was on Saturday marred with chaos that left one man dead with several others injured.

The opposition will on Thursday camp in Baringo County where they will address citizens at Barressa, Marigat after which they will on Friday hold rallies at Makutano, Kapenguria in West Pokot County.

NASA pentagon on Saturday will be expected at a rally in Mumias Town a day to when presidential candidates are expected to present papers to IEBC on Sunday 28 at KICC. They will later on the same day hold another rally at Jacaranda grounds.

After a short break from the busy week, the leaders will joins Nyeri County residents in this year’s Madaraka Day celebrations, in an attempt to woe voters from the area believed to be a Jubilee Party stronghold.

The principals will then officially launch campaigns for the polls in Kakamega County on Saturday June 3, as they seek lock the Luhya vote basket to their side.

They will move to Kapsabet on Sunday 4, after which visit Machakos County on the following day before continuing with their vote hunt in the coastal parts of the country in a schedule that runs throughout to June 10, when they will hold the main rally Wote.
