The government has announced plans to carry out a drill on
the Coronavirus this Sunday.
Speaking at Mbagathi Hospital on Thursday, Health CS Mutahi
Kagwe urged the public to be calm during the drill saying it would simulate a
case of COVID-19 infection.
It is aimed at educating the public and shedding light on how health officers should respond in case they encounter such a case.
"I will say here today that on Sunday at 11 O'clock we
shall be carrying out a simulation of a real case at the Mbagathi Hospital.
"I do not want when the ambulances start whirling away
for people to think that we have a real situation," he stated.
