Mixed reactions after Passaris gives beer to the elderly for Christmas

Nairobi County Woman Representative Esther Passaris on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, gave free beer to the elderly in Nairobi.

Passaris spent her Christmas with the less fortunate in the society, where she donated different foodstuffs for Christmas.

Through her Twitter account, the Woman Representative stated that she went to the Little Sisters of the Poor where she gave fruits and vegetables.

It was in the same place that she gave free beer to the elderly.

“We then crossed over to Little Sisters of the Poor in Kasarani where we gave out fruits and vegetables and then plenty of beer to the old. All in all, it’s been a great Christmas. My heart is full” posted Passaris.

It was that statement that elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans who did not understand why Passaris gave beer to the old.

In her defence, the woman representative said that even the old crave indulgence in what is perceived to be the finer things of life.
