National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi presided over the Kenya School of Law 4th Annual Graduation at Karen, Nairobi on Friday November 6.

This event brings together Lawyers who excelled in the Advocates Training Program and Paralegals who completed their courses last year.

The event, with Theme National Cohesion and Good Governance, comes in the wake of pressure and anxiety from the Lawyers who have decried the Chief Justice's decision to admit them to the bar next year in February instead of mid this December as it's often expected.

During the event, top students in the Bar exam are expected to be awarded, among them Alpha Magondu and Margaret Owade who are the best overall, Paul Komu and Brian Onyango in Civil Litigation, Lockwood Ngina in Criminal Litigation and Conveyancing, Livingstone Oloo and Imani Jaoko in Probate and Administration, Diana Muthoni in Legal Writing, Anthony Ng'ang'a in Trial Advocacy, Alpha Magondu, Njau JoyAnne and Faith Wambui in Professional Ethics, Teresia Jerusa in Legal Practice, and Ogato Gisemba and James Kimutai in Commercial Transactions papers.

Others to be awarded include Wahinya Ngendo, Leon Ndekei, and Patrick Nzomo, who were best Mooters for the year.

The Attorney General, Deputy President, and Law Society President have, however, skipped the event, only sending representatives.
