What DP Ruto’s daughter scored in this year’s KCPE

Deputy President William Ruto is a happy man after his daughter, Abby Ruto, passed the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination.

Abby managed to earn a spot among the 9770 students who scored more than 400 marks out of the possible 500 marks in the 2019 KCPE examinations.

She scored four hundred and six marks (406).


Her mother, Prisca Bett, expressed her happiness towards the result and said that she expected her to perform well as she was a good student.

She was a student at Greenvalle Academy.

Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha released the results on the afternoon of Monday, November 18, 2019.

Releasing the results, the Cabinet Secretary announced an overall improvement in the examination as compared to 2018.

The examinations were done in October 2019 and marking of the scripts was concluded on Friday, November 15, 2019.

Magoha stated that by December 2, 2019, every student should have information on which secondary school to join.
