Stella Jepkoech, a finance officer with the Nandi County Assembly, was found dead in a hotel room in Eldoret this week.
Recently, Jepkoech was among five officials summoned to appear before the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to answer questions on misappropriation of funds.
