Ask your mother! Sabina Chege responds to a man who asked about Wazir Chacha

Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege gave a Twitter user a dose of his own medicine after she was asked about con suspect Wazir Chacha.

Sabina had posted a picture of a group of people during a tree planting initiative and captioned it ‘Murang’a goes green. Mashinani Maneno’s’.

However, the twitter user only identified as Simon Maina, commented on the photo in Kikuyu asking if Chacha was among those in the picture.

“Kau nî Chacha kehau kana nî maitho ndîraira?” commented Simon.

The Murang’a Woman Rep later to Simon responded in Kikuyu and told him to ask his mother.

“Uria nyukwa,” Sabina responded.

Wazir Benson Chacha has been in the news for weeks now after police arrested him in Tarime, Tanzania as a key suspect in a scam targeting Members of Parliament (MPs) using Sabina’s details.

In a short video while in court, Chacha said that Sabina Chege is trying to fix him because of personal issues or differences. He said that Sabina should be investigated as a person of interest in the ongoing court issue and not him.

Sabina however in an interview with Hot 96 FM denied having any contact with the suspect and even challenged him to release the videos showing otherwise.

“I’m waiting. Because, let me tell you, I will not be intimidated. When I spoke about it in Parliament and I asked the Speaker that I needed to make a personal statement, one, it is because I can tell you I have never had any personal contact with Chacha,” said Sabina.

“With the kind of relationship we are talking about, if Chacha had videos, he would have released them,” she continued.
