SUMMARY
  • Kenyans learned a lesson or two after MPs Jaguar and Babu Owino showed photos of their reconciliation on social media
  • The two had a fight in October last year following political indifferences
  • They now say they have reconciled and are working towards a common goal

Starehe Member of Parliament(MP) Charles Njagua aka Jaguar and his Embakasi East Counterpart Paul Ongili aka Babu Owino shook social media with their ‘happy’ pictures just a week after the now monumental handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga.

The two leaders who exchanged blows in October 2017 posted on their Facebook pages on March 13 saying they had reconciled their differences and are now working together towards a common goal, to serve the interest of Kenyans.

The two fought in October 2017

Last year, the two fought when Jaguar got annoyed by Babu’s failure to recognize President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win in the August 8th election.

“Today I met my brother Hon.Jaguar at parliament and reconciled our differences. Promised to work together to serve the interest of Kenyans,” Babu wrote on his wall.

“Kenya is finally One.....,” wrote Jaguar.

Their new bromance brought in numerous reactions as Kenyans wondered what brought the sudden change of heart. Here are some from Twitter;
