Miguna Miguna – NRM had no role in ‘postponement’ of Raila swearing-in

The NRM wishes to state that it had no role in the "postponement" of the swearing in of The People's President made by Musalia Mudavadi yesterday. That was NASA’s decision. NRM will give a way forward in the next day or so. Please remain calm & focused – Miguna Miguna.

Former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Dr. Miguna Miguna has claimed that the newly formed movement had nothing to do with the postponement of Raila Odinga’s planned swearing-in.

Through a post on his Twitter, Miguna stated that the National Super Alliance (NASA) was responsible for the decision and that the resistance movement would give a way forward.

He also asked Kenyans to keep calm and focused.

The tweet sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans, most not sure about the difference between NASA and NRM.

In his responses, Miguna tried to clarify, saying the coalition the movement are two different entities.

Am now getting tired of this drama. What is the difference between the two? — Abdi said (@Abdibinsaid) December 11, 2017

One is @CoalitionNASAKe - a political coalition seeking power through the ballot - and the other is the NRM - a REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT. Cheers & Viva!

Who leads nasa and who leads NRM ? How can we not wail when we have lost so many lives general. NRM can't do it alone we need the others to have the numbers. We are very disappointed with this developments. Tomorrow was to be the day only for it to be postponed

Careful. We're following. Any small amount of provocation will create a rift. We're all alive of history. And we've moved on as neighbors. Mudavadi has played an administrative role. Respect the policy. — Moses Apeli (@apeliomuyangu) December 11, 2017
