HE’S FINALLY LEAVING: Jose Mourinho names his price for highly-rated defender

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho has finally named the price at which he is willing to sell out of favour English left-back Luke Shaw.

According to Mirror Football, 20 million euros has been set as the minimum needed if the 22-year-old is to be sold.

The Englishman has only played 47 minutes under Mourinho this season and appears to be unhappy by the lack of game time he is being offered.

Shaw had earlier told media that Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino used to treat him like his child while they were still both at Southampton, paving the way for rumours about his departure and apparent reunion with his former manager.

This would mean that Spurs would have to sell one of their best left backs, Danny Rose coming under fire for his performances and immediately attracting interest from top English clubs including Manchester United.

Shaw was signed for 33 million euros from Southampton in 2013 but has had an injury-plagued career so far, the highlight of his problems seeing him break his leg in Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven in 2015.

Mourinho has however said time and again that he has no problem with the youngster – casting a blanket of confusion on his supporters.
