Boni Khalwale celebrates after his two children pass KCPE with flying colors

Former Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale is a happy man after his two kids, Flava and Steve passed the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) with flying colors.

The former Senator said that his little girl got 407 marks out of 500, while his son scored 402.

“My little girl, Flavia & my small boy, Steve have excelled in the 2017 KCPE by scoring 407 & 402 marks respectively. I owe a huge debt of gratitute & unreserved thanks to God, my family, Malinya Primary School teachers & to all those who made this possible,” Mr Khalwale posted on his twitter handle.

Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’I released the KCPE results on Tuesday 21 November at the Kenyan Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) in Nairobi.

The education CS said that the first student Goldalyn Kakuya, managed to score 455 marks compared to the first student who scored 437 in 2016.
