Moses Kuria’s responds to Raila when he talked about his age in Kawangware

Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria responded to National Super Alliance (NASA) Raila Odinga when he talked about his age in Kawangware on October 29. Moses Kuria claimed that the opposition leader is up to something saying that ‘it’s not like Raila to respond to something that was said more than a month ago’.

“It’s not like Raila Odinga to respond to something that was said more than a month ago. So when he talked about his age in Kawangware today (October 29), I had to go back to archives to see if there is anyone who has talked about his age lately. Nothing! So what is he up to? He even asked how old Jomo was when he became President. Now we know. The campaign for 2022 kicked off in style in Kawangware today. 55 years old William Samoei Ruto vs 76 years old Raila Amolo Odinga. Epic!” Moses Kuria posted on his Facebook page.

Raila, during his speech in Kawangware, said that he was not going to resign from politics because people call him old. He said that people should not look at someone’s age but their brains and what they say.

"Angalia akili ya mtu, angalia sera za mtu sio umri (Look at someone’s brain, look at someone’s manifestos, not their age),” said Raila during his speech.

Raila went ahead and said that he will not resign from because Deputy President William Ruto has said he should but, he will only resign if he wants to.
