Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko Mbuvi posted on his facebook page he almost voted for Babu without knowing while casting his vote during the repeat presidential election.
“I think I should be using spects when reading like my Boss I almost voted for our Babu without knowing,” posted Mike Sonko.
The Nairobi Governor had urged Kenyans to go and vote then celebrate President Uhuru’s birthday afterwards.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has already voted at Mutomo primary school polling station in Gatundu including other politicians. Still in Gatundu, a family arrived at the Mutomo polling station bearing a cake and flowers to gift President Kenyatta on his birthday.
A low voter turnout has been experienced nationwide especially in Mombasa, Migori, Homabay, Kibera, Kisumu, Kakamega and other NASA strongholds. According to reports, Kiambu County, a Jubilee stronghold, has experienced a lower turnout compared to August 8 election.
