While youths in some parts of the country were displaying their displeasure over the outcome of the presidential polls and chaos erupted, an admirable initiative involving police and supporters of the two main political parties was rewriting history and inspiring hope.

The National Peace Sensitisation Campaign, spearheaded by Peace Cop Kenya, brought together youths in a tug-of-war face-off on Nakuru's KANU Street.

After sweating the election steam out, the participants painted peace messages on the tarmac.
