Opposition leaders are a laughing stock

In a civilised society, the opposition plays a fundamental role in keeping the government in check.

This can only be attained perfectly when the said opposition has a very clear agenda and structure as the alternative government.

The current state of our Opposition is bleak. The Opposition should put its house in order before 2017 election instead of just concentrating on criticising the ruling coalition.

For Opposition leaders to realise and enjoy their mandate, we expect most of them who are in ODM to correct the errors that happened during the Orange party national delegate conference, hold successful national grassroots elections and address the current leadership wrangles.

We are tired of seeing the Opposition hemmed in, which makes it a laughing stock.

Unless Opposition leaders take their rightful positions, they should forget winning the mandate to rule this country.
