Nairobians told to castrate dogs to control population

Nairobi residents who keep pets such as dogs and cats have been urged to neuter them so as to tame their growing population in the city.

This comes amid ongoing vaccination and sterilization campaigns in Nairobi courtesy of Nairobi County and the Kenya Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (KSPCA). The nine-day exercise targets estates where residents keep dogs and cats, among them, Ruai, Kibera, and Kayole.
