KMTC staff press for salary increase

Kenya: More than 60 lecturers and non-teaching staff at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Nyeri Campus yesterday held a peaceful demonstration protesting the failure by the management to implement a 12 per cent increase in their salary.

They accused KMTC board of being non-committal to honouring a court directive that awarded them Sh770 million following a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between them and the institution.
