THE ROYAL VISIT

The royal visit to Kenya by King Charles III and Queen Camilla lasted four days. Their majesties, who were hosted by President William Ruto, toured the country and met World War I and World War II veterans among other people. Kenyans online had a lot to say about Rigathi Gachagua's absence for two days and a soldier who stumbled at the king's feet.

AKOTHEE SPITS OUT

Akothee discussed her brief marriage to Denis Eduard Schweizer. She revealed that their troubles began on their honeymoon. ALLY B DIES

Ally B, famous for hits like "Maria" and "Bembea," passed away on Thursday, November 2. He died during treatment in a Mombasa hospital after a brief illness. Kenyans led by President Ruto, took to social media to mourn the artist.

El NINO IS HERE

Eight individuals were airlifted to safety as their lorry was swept away by floods at Lareta River, Samburu East. In Isiolo, an ambulance ferrying an expectant woman met the same fate but all onboard were rescued by air. Meteorologists have urged Kenyans to brace themselves for a wet season.

BONIFACE MWANGI

Boniface Mwangi received a two-month prison sentence or a Sh300,000 fine for contempt of court in a defamation case filed by Tourism CS Alfred Mutua. He refused to apologize for his social media comments and later posed in front of a "Corruption Zone" sign, sparking mixed reactions online.

SOL FEST

Sauti Sol had a special performance featuring their TBT songs. They invited P-Unit on stage during "Gentleman," and Nyashinski made a stylish entrance. These upcoming shows will be their final performances as they go their separate ways.
