Marathon World Record holder Eliud Kipchoge was crowned the overall Safaricom Sports Personality of the Year at the 15th edition of the SOYA Awards in Mombasa.
Kipchoge also scooped the Sportsman of the year Award as Steeplechase World Record Holder Beatrice Chepkoech won the women's award defeating Hellen Obiri, boxer Fatuma Zarika, and Celliphine Chespol. And Lionesses’ player Janet Okello.
