Thierry Henry eyes Wenger’s job at the Emirates

Thierry Henry and Manager Wenger

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has confirmed that he has managerial ambitions to succeed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, after his retirement.

Thierry has come clear on his love for the Gunners football club, days after he was relinquished duties as Gunners youth coach by Wenger, for his duties as Sky Sports TV pundit.

According to The Sun, the 38-year-old insists on his love to manage Arsenal one day, provided that he gains enough experience “which I’m working on to give me a better all-round knowledge.”

“I’d be lying if I told you being manager wasn’t a wish that I have because I love Arsenal,” Henry said.

“The game is my passion and always will be. I would like to manage — but I am far from it.” He added.

The French international assured Arsenal of his continued support throughout.

“I’ll continue to support the team and wish them the best for this season.” He said.
