Lands Cabinet Secretary Zackary Njeru yesterday commissioned the construction of 1,000 affordable houses in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County.

According to Mr Njeru, the first phase of the project will see the construction of 400 houses, beginning with an initial 100 units at a cost of Sh250 million, which will be completed within a year.
