No reprieve for bank in Sh33 billion case with Manchester Outfitters

The Supreme Court has declined to block clothes maker Manchester Outfitters from going after Standard Chartered Bank in a 34-year-old case over a debt that has accumulated to Sh33 billion.

The bank through senior lawyer George Oraro approached the highest court in the land seeking to block the company from demanding the amount.
