200 goals: How Harry Kane surpassed Arsenal and Man United legends in Europa League win

Harry Kane scored his 200th Tottenham Hotspur goal on his 300th appearance for the club as Spurs got back on track in the Europa League at Bulgarian side Ludogorets.

Having gone down 1-0 at Royal Antwerp last week, there was some pressure on Jose Mourinho's men to take back control of their group, but in truth they never looked like doing anything other than winning on a night when the Portuguese was able to rotate his squad.

Kane missed a presentable early chance and also hit the post from distance before he brought up his 200 with a close range finish from Lucas Moura's cross.

The pair then reversed roles as Kane teed up the Brazilian to double Tottenham's lead shortly after the half hour mark, with Mourinho's men in full control.

Gareth Bale had started as the third member of Tottenham's front three along with Kane and Moura, and he almost scored his second goal since his return with a bouncing free-kick that was saved by goalkeeper Plamen Iliev.

Kane was replaced by summer signing Vinicius at the break, and the new man missed a glorious chance for his first Spurs goal when he blazed over shortly after Claudiu Keseru had pulled one back for the hosts.

A home comeback never materialised though, and Son Heung-min teed up Tottenham's third for Giovani Lo Celso just seconds after coming on.

Kane's 200 goals in 300 games for his club compares favourably with some modern greats, with Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney all lagging behind the Tottenham and England man when it comes to finding the net 200 times for one club.

Kane is also now just 66 goals away from Tottenham's all-time record, held by Jimmy Greaves.
