Paulo Dybala has 'liked' an Instagram post urging him to stay at Juventus.
Manchester United have opened talks with Juventus over a sensational swap deal for the Argentine, which would see Romelu Lukaku move in the opposite direction.
Both clubs are keen to get the deal done although it is likely to hinge on Dybala's willingness to move to Old Trafford.
Dybala will reportedly seek talks with Maurizio Sarri after Juventus training on Wednesday before making a decision on his future.
But he has seemingly hinted he would like to stay with the Italian champions after liking a post on social media.
The post from the Juventus fan account urged Dybala to stay put and follow in the footsteps of club legend Alessandro Del Piero.
"This is your destiny Paulo, being Juventus' No.10, following in Alessandro Del Piero's footsteps, wearing the captain's armband and becoming a legend like him.
"You cannot leave us like that. Deny all these rumours and please stay with us.
"What is Juventus without its' jewel?"
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Dybala's wage demands could also scupper a move to Old Trafford.
Dybala is only likely to leave Juventus for United if he is offered a hefty pay rise.
And that is not in line with what is happening with the rest of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad at Old Trafford.
It is claimed some members of the United squad suffered a drop in wages after failing to qualify for the Champions League last season.
But Dybala will demand the same salary despite playing in the Europa League at Old Trafford.
