Olympic, Dagoretti Mixed, Dagoretti High close in on national slots

Former national girls under 19 football champions Olympic Mixed yesterday edged St Anne’s 2-0 to reach the semi-finals of the 2019 Nairobi Region Secondary Schools Term Two games currently on at Dagoretti High and Lenana.

In another under 19 girls match, Dagoretti Mixed routed Kariobangi North 7-1. Irene Namale and Lucy Kadzo netted twice each while Damaris Akinyi, Racy Akinyi and Christine Oloo were on target once each. Olympic will play the winner of the Maina Wanjigi and Loreto clash in the semis.
