Real Madrid president Perez: Eden Hazard linked with SHOCK exit

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez drops HUGE Chelsea transfer hint on Eden Hazard

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is hopeful of luring Eden Hazard to the Spanish giants.

The Belgian international has long been a target for the La Liga club and looks set to move this summer.

“I am very interested in him [Eden Hazard] coming to Real Madrid and I am very hopeful that he will come this year,” Perez told Onda Cero .

“He is one of the best in the world. We’ve been trying for a number of years to make Eden Hazard a Real Madrid player.

“We tried to get him last season but it was not possible.”

It is claimed Real will pay £100m up front for Hazard, with a further £15m in add-ons.

Hazard has won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, one League Cup as well as the Europa League since joining Chelsea from Lille in 2012.

He scored 16 goals and created another 15 in the Premier League this season as Chelsea finished third in the table and said he was fully focused on the final despite the speculation over his future.

“At the moment, nothing has happened, so I can’t say anything. It’s in the hands of the clubs,” he said. “But I can put it aside. I have done it during a full season right now, and I have played reasonably well.

“So I stay in that mode: just thinking about football. After the final, we will see what happens.”
