Sanchez FINALLY makes decision on Man United future, sends powerful message to fans

Man Utd flop Alexis Sanchez makes drastic decision

Alexis Sanchez has decided he must bring his Manchester United nightmare to an end this summer.

The Chilean forward has struggled since his move from Arsenal 18 months ago, and is now deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

According to the Sun , this has prompted Sanchez to call time on his United career, with the 30-year-old 'desperate' to leave the club.

Sanchez is on an inflated £400,000 per week wage, with United not thought to be standing in his way should he wish to depart.

Despite scoring just one league goal last season, Juventus and Inter Milan have expressed an interest in signing him.

He now has an opportunity to put himself further in the shop window, when Chile look to defend their Copa America title next month.

Sanchez had planned to return to pre-season training early, but could miss United's July 1 deadline if Chile reach the final of the tournament,

However he is hopeful of sealing a move away before that time, and is said to favour a switch abroad.

Folllowing his disappointing season for the Red Devils, which was blighted by injury, Sanchez sent an apology to the United fans.

He said: "It was a very tough season...the fan are the ones who deserve an apology as they always support you no matter what happens.

"Personally, I didn’t perform as much as I was expecting because of unpredictable injuries.

“Press and people were speculating of things that were not even true. I was always a professional in all aspects."

United could look to Real Madrid's Gareth Bale to replace Sanchez, should he leave the club.

Bale could be available on a free transfer , with Madrid keen to get his £300,000 per week salary off the wage bill.

Solskjaer is also weighing up a move for PSG's Thomas Meunier, as he looks to solve the club's defensive problems.
