Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association (NPCA) Super League champions Stray Lions take on Sir Ali Club as they hunt for an eighth victory. The tie is on at Peponi School Grounds, Ruiru, tomorrow.

Lions, who lie second on the log with 130 points five less than Kanbis, will battle for victory and bonus points to bridge the gap between them and the leaders. They want to exhibit top form that saw them pull a 44-run win over Nairobi Sikh Union last weekend.

They are hopeful that Abraham Vadada, who regained his grip away to Sikh Union scoring 121 runs to steer his side to victory, will replay the good show at home. Shem Ngoche and Hiren Varaiya are expected to impress with the ball once again.

However, they need to be at their best as they slug it out with Sir Ali, who registered a 94-run win over Kongonis last Sunday. Sir Ali, who made a comeback to the league after missing last season, are fifth on the table with 67 points having won three matches and lost four.

At Sir Ali former champions kanbis will play bottom-placed Obuya Academy. A win will see them remain top of the log as they seek to reclaim the title. National team skipper Rakep Patel, the league top runs scorer, seeks to increase his tally and has been instrumental in Kanbis campaign with the bat.

Swamibapa who suffered a 52-run loss to Kanbis hope to bounce back when they take on Cutchi Leva at SCLPS in Nairobi West.
