Thika United defender Oruchum opens up on his motivations, as he looks to lead SportPesa AllStars team against Hull City

The final squad of the SportsPesa All Stars squad is understood to have already travelled to England to play in a friendly match against Hull City.

Among those who made in the squad slated to play at KCOM Stadium on February 27 is Youthful Thika United defender Christopher Oruchum.

Oruchum was thrilled to have made it in the final squad. In an interview with Sportpesa, the defender said he is not motivated by Money that come with the trip to United Kingdom but hope the trip will open more opportunities for his football career to develop.  

“My motivation is not money; neither is it the allowances that come with this trip. What I need the most is to use this chance as a stepping stone for my career growth. I want to use this game to capture the attention of scouts and possibly push for a big move.

“This is a big chance for any player in the team. We all want to do well,” he told sportpesa
